I fix the broken systems .

§ 01 · Practice

Three lines of work.
One operator.

Most things slowing your business down resolve into one of these three. Often a stitched-together mix. The work is to find which, then build it properly.

  1. 01 Custom build

    Custom integration apps.

Tailored software that connects your disconnected tools, replaces SaaS subscriptions that aren't pulling their weight, and acts as the load-bearing wall between everything your team actually uses.

  2. 02 Automation

    Automated workflows.

Removing the manual handoffs slowing your team down — with AI sprinkled in only where it earns its place. Judgement steps in the flow, not theatre on the sidebar.

  3. 03 AI plumbing

    AI skills & agents.

Custom AI tools built around your data, your customers, your edge cases — not a generic prompt wrapper. Real agents and skills your team can lean on day to day.

§ 02 · Filings

Two recent case files.
Names withheld.

The work talks. Two engagements pulled from the cabinet — one financial-services SaaS replacement, one cleaning-services ERP rebuild.

Case file № 2025–014 · Financial Services
SaaS
replaced.
Workflow finally working.

A custom app that fixed what their software couldn't.

A few days inside the business — their data, their workflows, the actual problem — was enough to see the off-the-shelf SaaS was never going to get there. I built a custom app that solved it. The failing subscription got cancelled the same month.

every year, in the owner's pocket.

One platform replacing a stack of disconnected apps.

Replaced a stack of half-fitting tools with a single ERP built around how the business actually operates. Pain points removed, subscriptions consolidated, and more than $70,000 a year in recurring software cost gone — with the workflows running cleaner than they ever did.

§ 03 · Method

An honest engagement.
Not a sales pitch.

Initial project, then a retainer that scales with what you actually need. If I can't solve it, you don't pay. The process is intentionally short on theatre.

  1. 01
    Discovery ~ 3–5 days

    Diagnosis, not demo-ware.

A few days inside your business — your data, your workflows, your team. No jargon, no upselling. An honest look at what's actually broken and whether I'm the right person to fix it.

  2. 02
    Build ~ 4–8 weeks

Build only what earns its keep.

Custom app, automation, AI integration, or the right combination. I build what your business actually needs — not what fits inside a templated package someone else is selling.

  3. 03
    Partner monthly retainer

Tech that ages with the business.

After the build, most clients move onto a monthly retainer. Dial it up when you need more, scale it back when you don't. Your tech ages with the business, not against it.

§ 04 · Colophon

Not an agency.
One operator who likes hard problems.

I'm based in Melbourne and work with clients across Australia — Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and everywhere in between. Some clients call me a tech guru; I think of it as being the operator who actually fixes things.

Most consultants will sell you a stack before they understand your business. I'd rather sit down with your team for a few days, learn how you actually work, and only then decide what to build.

The problems I love are the ones that have been on the whiteboard for months. The "we tried that SaaS but it didn't quite fit" problems. The disconnected-systems-and-spreadsheets problems. The ones everyone's accepted as the cost of doing business.

When I see a problem solved often enough, I productise it. fromtheoffice.io is one of those — a rapid-quoting tool for small service businesses. Built once, useful many times.

If I can't solve your problem, there is no fee. I'm not in the business of over-promising.
